Hello Barranca Mesa Bobcat Families,

This week we will continue our attendance campaign, “Be HERE to BLOOM!” through Friday, May 15. We encourage all families to help support strong attendance—our goal is to reach 100% each day! Third through sixth grade will start iMSSA testing this week. Please make sure your student is on time to school each day, have had a good night's rest, and a plentiful breakfast.

Tuesday is our BMES Spring Concert at 8:30-10:00 am in the gym. All families and grade level students are invited. We kindly ask parents to enter through the outside gym doors. Doors will be unlocked at 8:15 am for entry. We look forward to hearing our bands, orchestras, and choir perform!

On Wednesday, we have a RC hot air balloon visiting our campus and all grade level students will be able to see and learn about the hot air balloon. The students are excited about their visit!

The Bobcat Bonanza, our biggest fundraiser of the year is this Friday, May 15th! This fun-filled event brings together our school and the Los Alamos community, and we need lots of volunteers to help make it a success. From donating cakes to helping with games, bounce houses, and cotton candy, there’s a role for everyone—parents, siblings, and family members alike.
