Dear Parents and Caregivers,

You are invited to start your day with conversation and pastries with the principal on Friday, December 6th. This is an opportunity to chat with the principal about important topics and meet our district’s prevention specialists.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and connect with other caregivers to ensure a positive and safe school experience for all students. Thanks to support from our community partner JJAB, we will serve pastries and coffee from a local coffee shop. We look forward to seeing you there!

Hello Barranca Mesa Bobcat Families,            Loading indicator

We hope everyone had a relaxing break and enjoyed some down time before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season!

  • Ride the Bus Day is this Monday, December 2nd. It is the 80th day of school.
  • On Thursday, December 5th is the Barranca Spelling Bee at 4:00 pm in the cafeteria. Please come cheer on our super spellers!
  • This Friday, December 6th is "Popcorn Friday"! Students can bring a $1.00 to buy a bag of popcorn. Friday is also the last day to donate PJs for our Pajama Drive. Help us reach our goal!
  • We also are hosting "Pastries with the Principal" at 8:30-9:30 am in the cafeteria on Friday morning. We would love to see you there!
  • Please check out the PTO "Teacher Giving Tree" in our school front foyer! If you choose, treat your child's teacher and any BMES staff member to a special holiday gift.
  • Also, parents please check out the "Lost and Found". It is getting pretty full with winter gear. Please help these items find their owner. Labeling your student's jackets and gear helps as well. Items will be donated during winter break.

Have a wonderful week!

Kristen Martines, Principal & Audrey Juliani, Assistant Principal
