Hello Barranca Mesa Families,

Welcome to all of our returning and new Bobcat students and families! The countdown is on, and we’re ready to shift into a fantastic new school year! Our Bobcats are getting ready to cross the starting line for a year filled with learning, growing, building friendships, and making memories together.

🏁 First Race Day — Monday, August 10
Our Kindergarten–6th Grade students will kick off the school year on Monday, August 10. We’ll hit the track for a full week of full days of school! This Friday, August 14th is our first early release Friday.

🏎️ Preschool Starts — Wednesday, August12
Our 3Y & 4Y Preschool students will take their first lap on Wednesday, August 12!

📣 A Quick Reminder for Families
Being at school from the very beginning helps students get off to a strong start. The first week is an important time for learning classroom routines, building relationships, getting comfortable in new surroundings, and beginning important learning.

🏁 Save These Dates:

🚦 August 10 — First Day of School for K–6
🚦 August 12 — First Day of School for 3Y & 4Y Preschool
🏆 August 25 | 5:30–7:00 PM — Open House

Our entire Barranca Mesa staff is excited for the year ahead and all the growth and learning it will bring. We are ready to partner with you and support your child every step of the way.
