🌼🌺 It is the Final Countdown to Summer Break! 🌼🌺

Hello Barranca Mesa Bobcat Families,

A big thank you to our Specials' team for our very first successful Specials Day! We appreciate you planing and organizing this culminating event for all of our students. Friendly reminder, please take a moment to check your child’s backpack and bedroom for any library books that may still be at home. We are completing our library inventory and want to account for all books and resources.

The final three days of the school year—Wednesday, May 27th; Thursday, May 28th; and Friday, May 29th will be early dismissal days, with students being released at 1:40 p.m. each day. Lunch will be served as normal. School buses will run after school and we have been told that the ACT bus will run at 1:40 pm on all three of the early dismissal days as well.

We would like to send out best wishes to Mrs.Gernon on her retirement, and to Mr. Pantanilla, Mrs.Subsomboon, and Ms.Nguyen as they begin their next adventures. We will miss you all and wish you nothing but the best!

Here is a break down of our week ahead:

• Tuesday is our very first "Moving Up" Day for K-6th grades starting at 8:30-9:00 am. We also have our Pre-K End of Year Celebration, it starts at 11:00 to 12:00 pm in the gym. Parents, please enter through the outside gym doors. The doors will open at 10:30 am. There will be regular dismissal at 2:40 pm today.

• Wednesday is our Sixth Grade Promotion Ceremony at 9:00-11:00 am in the gym. Parents, please enter through the outside gym doors. The doors will open at 8:30 am. Also, the District Preschool Party is at Ashley Pond from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Parents are required to stay with their preschooler at the pond.There is early dismissal at 1:40 pm.
• Thursday there are no preschool classes today and tomorrow, Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th. Our Talent Show is at 8:45 am to 9:45 am in the gym for all grade levels and families to attend. Parents, please enter through the outside gym doors. The doors will open at 8:30 am. There is early dismissal at 1:40 pm.
• Friday there are no preschool classes today, Friday, May 29th. There is early dismissal at 1:40 pm. Report cards will be emailed home to parents at 5:00 pm today.
